Employee Performance Management is an application designed to manage the appraisal cycle of the employees.
Having the performance of the employees tracked, will in turn help the managers to better evaluate the employees, and thus helps to evaluate the company’s performance.
An appraisal cycle is basically an evaluation of the annual performance of employees. The same cycle is carried over for all levels of employees. The ratings can be viewed by the designated persons in the HR department and is used for deciding the percentage of yearly increment in annual CTC if any, promotions or annual performance bonus.
Thus the employee performance management system provides an organization to store and present a better picture of employee utilization and can be used in the betterment of the company.
